Vodafone says it has sold nearly 300,000 units of the Samsung-made H1 and M1 phones that support its 360 content/social networking/contacts service, which went live in November 2009.
The company says the H1 and M1 devices were its best-selling smartphones in the Christmas quarter.

Vodafone has also confirmed a Vodafone People app for Android devices, which will soon be available for Android users in the eight initial Vodafone 360 launch countries from Google Marketplace.
Users can then register with Vodafone 360, enabling them to automatically and wirelessly sync all their contacts from their phone and aggregate social network feeds, chat and email accounts into a single connected address book.
Vodafone has also highlighted the introduction of Hyves - a Dutch social networking site - to 360 and says Twitter and Germany’s studiVZ will be integrated this summer.
